At Inspired Healing, it is our mission to provide the most holistically innovative creative arts therapies & mental health services throughout the southeast Michigan area. With a strengths-based approach to person-centered humanistic care, we invite the healing process to become a unique therapeutic journey tailored to the needs of each individual client.

Our clients are encouraged to take an active role throughout their treatment. We believe in creating empathetic collaboration in order to create the most effective therapeutic goals and interventions specific to individual needs. Our practice aims to foster human potential through the means of creative expression, inter/intrapersonal connection, self-exploration, and mindfulness-based practices. We are committed to providing the guidance necessary on your path to facilitate healing of mind, body, and spirit.

We provide an empathic environment both in person and virtually, while attending to whatever a client might bring to our work together. Our approach is expressive and nonjudgmental--Therapy can take on many unique forms! Together, we will discover new ways to overcome negative thoughts, feelings, emotions, and bodily sensations by identifying unique strengths and coping skills through clinical psychotherapy and creative arts therapy. Through this creative process, we will uncover some of the physical, mental, and emotional barriers that might be preventing you from vibrant health.

Therapeutically, our philosophy is theoretically based in Person-Centered Care, Humanistic Psychology, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Strengths-Based Counseling, Dance/Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Ballroom Dance, EMDR, Transgender Care, Meditation, and Yoga.

Inspired Healing’s approach to treatment is unique in the fact that it is extremely individualized and offered through a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. This means that the therapy can come to YOU. For many, the idea of walking into a therapeutic treatment center can be overwhelmingly daunting. The idea of beginning the healing process from within the home is not only appealing for most clients due to the convenience, but it also deepens the concept of holistic healing by beginning at the source where most people spend their time.

However, some of our clients prefer to separate the therapy room from their living environment. For those interested, we do offer in-person sessions at our Royal Oak location (3204 N Main Street, Royal Oak, MI 48073).

The reasons behind this decision are unique to each client, and are absolutely validated and supported by us. Every individual is different, and we honor the wishes of each person. These options will be discussed during an initial phone or email consultation.

At Inspired Healing, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and other identities within the spectrum). We understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, and we strive to create a space where everyone feels respected, validated, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

For transgender and gender-nonconforming clients, we provide gender-affirming care that respects and validates their gender identity. This may include using preferred names and pronouns, discussing gender transition-related concerns, and providing support for navigating social, medical, and legal aspects of gender affirmation.

We recognize that LGBTQIA+ individuals may experience intersecting forms of oppression and discrimination based on factors such as race, ethnicity, disability, socioeconomic status, and more. Our therapy approach is intersectional, acknowledging and addressing the unique experiences and challenges faced by individuals with multiple marginalized identities.
