I am a professional counselor committed to helping individuals manage challenging moments and increase positive experiences. I received my Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in counseling from Florida International University after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University. My experience ranges in all ages from Children/Adolescents (5-17) to Adults (18+) and includes family dynamics. My work is person-centered and focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs around the issue. Through the use of evidence-based techniques (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Motivational Interviewing & etc.) I believe in taking a collaborative approach to empower clients to reach their desired outcome. My work focuses on a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Skills, Parenting Strategies, and classroom behaviors.
I am dedicated to providing a safe, nonjudgemental space throughout your healing journey. Let’s talk soon and work together to increase your positive experiences and elicit an improved quality of life! Just because no one else can do the healing work for you doesn’t mean that you can, should, or need to do it all alone.
