(She/Her)

I am a dance/movement therapist, mental health counselor, and registered yoga teacher. I received my Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England after completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wayne State University. Continuing education is important to me as to ensure I continue to grow and develop my own skills as a therapist. I have completed additional training with the Prison Yoga Project in Yoga, Social Justice, & Leadership as well as training in Somatic Psychotherapies from Antioch University Santa Barbara.

I have worked in diverse settings with individuals facing a variety of life's challenges. I have experience working with neurodivergent children, forensic commitments, people recovering from trauma, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, individuals with substance use disorders, and individuals of all ages. As a therapist, I work from a humanistic, strengths-based, feminist approach to therapy bringing awareness to the systems of power that impact our wellbeing. I am passionate about creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for individuals to investigate challenges presented in life.

As a dance/movement therapist and counselor, mind-body connection is important to me. I work from a belief that we bring our whole self to therapy and that our body holds our strengths, experiences, adversities, and trauma. Sometimes speaking about the difficulties we encounter is a difficult feat, and with this in mind I like to integrate expressive arts modalities to my therapeutic work. I have training in many different modalities of treatment including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Trauma Informed Yoga, Somatic Psychotherapies, and others.

I look forward to working with you and supporting you in this journey towards healing.
